Exploring our Faith

Our parish’s “Exploring our Faith” Group, provides an opportunity for parishioners to come together to discuss our Christian faith and its relevance for life today. It incorporates “SYCAMORE”, a video-based, informal course which is being used in parishes and schools across the UK. It gives space to meet other parishioners, share ideas, explore our beliefs, and think about questions that really matter.

Courses are usually held during Lent and Advent when small groups of parishioners meet one evening per week over a 4/6-week period. There’s no pressure and attendees can explore and discuss topics without fear of being judged. For more information about SYCAMORE and upcoming courses can be requested below

The need for formation

A part of our humanity is the spiritual nature of our being.  We want to inform others about the reality of the supernatural - helping others to encounter Christ through faith!

This course provides a wonderful opportunity for parishioners and visitors to explore faith in a vibrant, exciting and enlightening way.

Exploring our faith seeks to help those who have faith to re-discover the power of effective prayer through practical guidance and demonstrations, and testimony.

Also for those  who are seeking or considering faith as the instrument towards achieving happiness, it will guide them on and how to recognise and harness experiences which best reflects God's presence.
