Below are some pics of the beautiful “Carlo Acutis Rosary”, handmade in Italy, which the parishioners of St. Mary’s, Largs, and of Our Lady’s, Millport, presented to Fr. Peter on Sunday 24th August. Children of the parish. handed the gift over to a somewhat emotional Fr. Peter along with a beautiful handmade card depicting Blessed Carlo in a stained glass window setting. At the bottom of the card were the two flags of Scotland and Italy. At the top there was an aeroplane – the one Fr. Peter will be taking to Rome this coming weekend for the canonization of SAINT Carlo Acutis! Fr. Peter will remember all parishioners and their intentions at the Mass of canonization, asking St. Carlo to continue to be so close and present to our parishes and to our needs, both spiritual and material. The pictures of the Rosary speak for themselves – and Our Lady will no doubt be delighted to have this young new Saint by Her side!
